  • Do not fly your drone higher than 120 meters
  • Respect others privacy when flying your drone
  • Do not fly your drone over airports or in areas where aircraft are operating
  • You must fly during daylight hours and only fly in good weather conditions
  • Do not fly your drone in sensitive areas including government or military facilities. Use of drones or camera drones in these areas are prohibited
  • Drones over 500 grams need to be registered
  • Many airlines flying to/from Turkey have completely banned the transport of drones or the transport of lithium-ion batteries. Check with the airline you will be flying to Turkey on to see their policies

Bringing Your Drone On Airplanes Guide
Check In Vs Carry On?
We do not recommend checking your drone in on an airplane since the Montreal convention states that airlines are liable for only up to around ~$1,000 USD of baggage losses.

Drones like between 500gr to 1kg can be brought onboard the plane with you, while larger drones over 1kg can be shipped where they will be fully insured through to their destination.
